Gerald J. Turetsky: Gerald Turetsky served for 30 years in various federal, state and local government posts. He was New York Regional Administrator for the U.S.General Services Administration, Chairman of the New York Federal Executive Board, General Counsel of the NYC Rent Commission, Assistant NYS Attorney General and held other government positions. He is co-founder of the Citizens Crime Commission of New York City, and he served on its Board for 20 years. He is currently a Board member of the Respect for Law Alliance, Inc. and Chairman of its Committee on Civil and Criminal Justice. His Op Ed columns have appeared in various newspapers, including The New York Times, The New York Post, The Journal News, The Washington Times, The Albany Times Union, The Brooklyn Daily Eagle, and The Scarsdale Inquirer.
